Short Story: Thresholds

I've got another short story exclusively posted on Wattpad. This one is a sci-fi/space western called 'Thresholds': 

Billie Holliday and her android partner, Max, are CDC enforcers. They're like tax collectors from the 21st century; necessary for the world to keep turning but the last person you want on your doorstep. Make that double for the frontier towns. In a future landscape plagued by rapidly evolving diseases, Billie is what you get for living beyond the threshold population.
